Right after I read, the teens created wearable Book Art for the library’s annual READ poster. Here they are in their transformed (and amazing) versions!
It was a treat to meet these cool teen readers and their super supportive librarians.
An eerie coincidence that happened was a real live drug bust occurred in Red Deer a couple of days before I read from Blow. It’s always strange when fiction and reality collide, and it’s a little uncomfortable when that reality involves gangs. I’m looking forward to writing about a wilderness adventure next…no drug dealers in sight in this one!
